Elisabeth Kasilingam appointed as EPF's Interim Executive Director
On behalf of the EPF Board, we are pleased to announce the appointment of Elisabeth Kasilingam as Acting Executive Director on a part-time basis, following the departure of Usman Khan, until the recruitment of a new Executive Director.
Serving EPF as Board Member and Treasurer, and being the CEO of the European Multiple Sclerosis Platform, Elisabeth has extensive experience and knowledge of patient organisations, including operational management, strategic planning, financial management, European advocacy and health policy fields. Elisabeth has supported the EPF Secretariat as liaison with the Board since April 2020.
We are excited that Elisabeth has agreed to serve in this capacity as we continue to implement our transition plan to find a permanent Executive Director. EPF is committed more than ever to pursue its mission to advance the interests of patients and patient communities by strengthening their collective impact across Europe through effective advocacy, education, empowerment, and partnership.
Thank you for your support and we look forward to working with you over the next few weeks, months, and years as we continue to build a better health agenda for European patients.
