Commission Recommendation on EHR: a step towards a patient-centred European digital health framework

EPF welcomes the Commission’s Recommendation as a step towards a patient-centred European digital health framework. The Recommendation highlights many aspects the patient community has advocated for; however for this to work, we feel it is important to also include the needs and preferences of patients and their involvement in the process.
