Meet Anca Toma, EPF’s new Executive Director
Anca Toma will be appointed European Patients’ Forum’s Executive Director as of 7 March 2022
EPF’s President Marco Greco and EPF’s Executive Director Elisabeth Kasilingam are happy to announce that Ms Anca Toma will be joining our team as the new Executive Director on 7 March 2022.
Anca is a public health advocate working in tobacco control, with expertise in European public health policy and advocacy, and brings with her extensive knowledge and experience of EU policy and institutions, advocacy strategies, policy campaigns and project management. Anca has led the Smoke Free Partnership for the past four years, in addition to her 10 years working on pan-European campaigns in SFP. Her almost 20 years of working experience includes the private sector (public affairs consultancy) and the public sector.
Elisabeth Kasilingam, CEO of the European Multiple Sclerosis Platform, who has been part-time Acting Executive Director of EPF since 2020 will be stepping down from this position at EPF and will resume her role within the EPF Board.
