Riga Health Conference 2015 - A few places available!

We have a few places available for EPF member organisations for the upcoming Riga Health Conference 2015, organised in cooperation with EPF, EPHA, EGA, EFPIA, and the Latvian Presidency of the Council of the European Union.

What? 

The Conference is entitled: "Universal Health: Investing in Health and Wellbeing for All"

The main aim of this conference, which will be held under the auspices of the Latvian Presidency of the Council of the European Union, is to identify strategies to harness citizen participation to create efficient, equitable European health systems.

Conference Programme

The programme will build on the Vilnius declaration, the outcomes from the 2013 Health Summit organised by the Lithuanian Presidency, calling for immediate action in the areas of:

• Investing in cost-effective health promotion and disease prevention
• Ensuring universal access to high quality people-centred health services
• Ensuring that health system reforms are evidence-based and grounded in common European values of solidarity, high quality and equity of access, while focusing on cost-effectiveness, sustainability and good governance.

How to apply for an invitation?

This Conference is by "invitation-only". EPF has been allocated a few places for representatives from its member organisations. To apply for an invitation, please send an email to policy@eu-patient.eu. Places will be allocated on a first-come-first served basis. Travel costs and accommodation will be included, subject to confirmation.
