We Care project: how quality healthcare services can be preserved?

EPF is glad to announce our participation in the consortium of We Care -Towards a Sustainable and Affordable Healthcare. This is a two-year European project co- funded by the 7th Research Framework Programme.

The main objective of WE CARE is to investigate how quality healthcare services can be preserved and guaranteed in EU countries while ensuring their viability and containment in terms of costs.

The purpose of the project is challenging especially in view of the expected “explosive” growth of expenditure in the EU member states.

Gothenbhurg University, project coordinator of WE CARE, will launch the project at a  meeting on 23-24 September in order to set up the timeline of activities. EPF President Anders Olauson will attend this crucial first meeting
