EU4Health Civil Society Alliance concerned about the role of health in the next commission mandate

On 25th September 2024, the EU4Health Civil Society Alliance, of which EPF is part of, sent a letter to European Commission President Ursula von der Leyen calling for a meeting to discuss health in the next Commission mandate.

The EU4Health Civil Society Alliance's elections manifesto outlined the need to prioritise health for the next European Commission and European Parliament’s mandates. 

Over 16 organisations request assurance that the Commissioner nominee for the health portfolio is committed to driving an ambitious health agenda at EU level, building on the legacy of the previous mandate, and working hand in hand with civil society organisations to achieve it.
