- Reinforce the role of medical technology companies in gaining appropriate consent and properly safeguarding personal data to support advances in care
- Raise awareness and understanding of the potential of this health data and how it can be “re-used” to create new and innovative health solutions for the benefit of patients and healthcare systems
- Identify the main barriers in patient and public opinion to trust in the (re-)use of health data
