Limited resources versus patients’ need: How to prioritise?
Key health stakeholders throughout Europe are invited to complete an online survey on their preferences on specific policy objectives (e.g. equitable access to medicines) and on their assessment of major reimbursement policies for medicines.
This research comes from a consortium around the Austrian Health Institute (Gesundheit Österreich Forschungs- und Planungs GmbH, Vienna), commissioned by the Executive Agency for Health and Consumers (EAHC). They will survey the preferences of key stakeholders (patients/consumers, pharmaceutical industry, public healthcare payers and competent authorities for pricing and reimbursement, doctors and pharmacists) on reimbursement policies in the out-patient sector.
To take part in this survey, please contact Nina Zimmermann, WHO Collaborating Centre for Pharmaceutical Pricing and Reimbursement Policies at the Austrian Health Institute, Vienna, T: +43 1 515 61- 132, nina.zimmermann@goeg.at.
