Health Technology Assessment (HTA) consensus-building exercise

The European Patients' Forum published a tender to test a DELPHI consensus-building process as an HTA method to support the determination of the Population, Intervention, Comparator, and Outcome (PICO).

The goal is to reduce variation in input, especially regarding relevant populations, sub-populations, and patient outcomes. There is a concern that the current HTA Regulation and the available implementing act on Joint Clinical Assessment may lead to fragmented input from European and national patient organisations in designing PICOs.
